WA!
i didn't post for 2 weeks le!
well..was busy doing hw and revision and....
GOING HONG KONG!! =D

HONG KONG!

actually i was not very happy with the trip..
becuz of a few things la..

anyway,
my mum and i reached MACAU around 2pm (not sure of the time).
then we went to take the free shuttle bus that is provided for us to our hotel..
our hotel is CASA REAL HOTEL..
its a 4-star hotel okay? =D

the room was quite big..
got BATH TUB too!! LOL..
went to eat lunch..
wa seh!
COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN!!!
we didn't really catch anything as to what the person was saying..
but luckily my mum claims to know a bit of CANTONESE..

went shopping at NEW YAOHAN!
the things there were not cheap..
in the end, just got a shorts from veeko.
(it was having a sale and so was cheaper than SG)
1 pair of shoes cost S$80?
wth?
had a hard time buying the shorts too..
becuz of CB!
most of them dun really understand chinese or even ENGLISH which i read from a book that says the main languages of the people there are CANTO and ENG!
i was like huh?

AND...
the salesgirls were so rude!
wa seh..
was already irritated by CB.
and now the people are so rude..

anyway..
went around the places near our hotel for fear of getting lost..
(we did not go with a tour group, u see.. so we went round with juz a map)
after that, we went taking pictures at FISHERMAN'S WHALF and FIRE MOUNTAIN! (directly translated from chinese)

the next morning, we set off for HK through ferry..
was quite irritated by CB too..
my mum's claim of her knowing CANTO..
its really a CLAIM!

ferry ride took 45 mins or so..
reached HK.
had to take a taxi ourselves to our hotel..
CB again! ARGHHHH!!!
it was quite a long trip to our hotel..
and the taxi meter jumped very quickly!
at 1st, i tot why it remained at HK$15 for around ten mins..
then it suddenly jumped HK$1.50 per 1 and a half sec!
wa seh..
frightened!

our hotel is METROPARK MONGKOK!
though its only 3-star, it was about the same as tat in MACAU..

went to rest for a while.
and then continued our exploring ourselves with juz a map.
was lost and kept walking in the wrong directions..
finally after exploring,
we found some shopping streets!
THE LADIES STREET!

wow!
a lot of shops down 3 streets!
and most of them are selling the same clothes..
walked at least 3 times around the 3 streets!!
cuz there were too many designs of clothes and we had to compare prices la!!
hehe..

finally, after CB and thought,
bought ROXY shirt( HK$79=S$16) , jeans(HK$89=S$18) and a blouse(HK$59=S$12)!! =D
was quite cheap..

TIRED!!
legs were aching like mad..
went back hotel..



the next day was a city tour provided by the travel agency.
went to eat breakfast at a restaurant.
bought DISNEYLAND watches and keychains from tour guide.
(HK$100 for 4 watches, HK$300 for 17 keychains)

went to HK attractions..
like a tour round the sea.
saw famous people's ferries!!
such as LEON LAI, ANDY LAU..
DAMN BIG AND LUXURIOUS!!

also went places to see the female Buddha (dunno how to spell), the Marriage stone(not sure again) and the bridge of longevity!!
hahas..
thus i came up with this conclusion:
HONGKONGERS are superstitious! (hope dun offend u, thomas! =X)
took pictures of those..

went eat lunch.
they gave us a choice whether to go a place where u can see another buddha but u have to climb lots of stairs..
i think its lantau island..
or to go shopping where has lots of different brands like NIKE, ADIDAS, QUIKSILVER,TIMBERLAND,etc...
i chose shopping but regretted later!
the items there were so EXPENSIVE!!
didn't buy anything in the end la.
wahwah..
shld have went to eat the buddha!
TRULY REGRETTED!!

i was so stupid!!!

anyway, wat's done cannot be undone! =((((

the whole group met together at 630pm.
and we heard there's no transport back to hotel!
wth..
we waited so long and we had to go back on our own??!?!
ARGH!!
lousy planning by the agency!

dropped us somewhere at a shopping centre (forgot where is it..i think 3 stations away from MONGKOK mtr station)
then we had to find where the hell the mtr station is..
asked for directions and had CB once again!
irritated!

finally found it and went back to PRINCE EDWARD mtr station..
this is near to our hotel.
and we went shopping again and went back hotel.

the 3rd day..
we dare not go far our hotel for fear of getting lost again..
so went LADIES STREET shopping for clothes for my sis and us again..
LOL..
i know some of u may be thinking, 'wth?still went shopping at the same place?'
but.. wait till u are in a unknown place..
hahas..

BUT!!!
we heard a typhoon was coming at 3pm!
most of the shops were closing due to the typhoon!
wahwah..
didnt get to buy many things..
sadded!!
argh!
im relieved tat SG has no natural disasters!! =)))

went to buy some last minute shirts at those shops which are not closed yet..
then on our way home at around 3 plus,
the wind was so strong tat our umbrellas were about to fly away!
u shld have seen tat situation!
it was quite funny as it was my 1st time experiencing such things!
SORRY that i made a joke out of the typhoon..

anyway, finally got back our hotel.
and heard that the typhoon was NO.8
which means it was quite strong!
haix..
half of our day is gone!!
we had to stay in our hotel, watching tv!
wahwah..
wasted!

SADDED!!! =(((

went to eat at a restaurant at our hotel.
finally a big meal! =)))

the last day came.
sadded!
had to leave so fast..
a pity that our half day of us in HK was gone!
haiz..

went to airport!
bought lots of chocolates!

it was the end of the HK trip!
not very happy becuz of CB and typhoon and rude salespeople!
anyway..bought lots of things to make up for it..
